There are endless walking and hiking trails in Ballydehob and it's surrounding area, e.g. Mount Gabriel, Mount Kid. There are also bike routes for leisurly bike rides. Look out for those picnic spots. Hire a bike from (028) 21235.

Stone Circle

Stone circles are also a big reason why people come to West Cork. You can buy a book at the Craft Shop which has a map of all the stone circles in the area.

Well worth a visit if you want to go back in time.

Whale & Dolphin Watching

Whale Watch West Cork is the only marine tour operator in West Cork dedicated solely to whale and dolphin watching.

They are based in Union Hall, which is about 50 min drive of Ballydehob.
During the early part of the season they run tours in the morning and during the afternoon. Whale Watch West Cork is the only operator in West Cork to have a qualified zoologist available and information sheets available on every trip.
